Derwent Edge in April 2011. This was an amazing Sunday with temperatures around 20c. This has to be one of the most scenic places in the Peak District.

Welcome..

Hi and welcome to my Photography blog.
Photography has been an interest of mine for many years and I'm recently drawn to landscapes in the Peak District and its surrounding areas. It's hard to believe that we have this stunning countryside on our doorstep, which most of us take for granted. Sometimes all that is needed is to park the car and venture down paths or up hills to see these stunning scenes.

For the Techies out there these photos were taken using a Canon EOS600D which is an entry level digital SLR. I use a Sigma 18-75mm lens and only use Neutral Density filters and a polorizing filter for bringing details out in the sky.
